Pros:Staff were more than helpful. Arrived after a 11 hour walk. We were shown our room and my huge bag was carried for Me. Thank you. We ordered food which was excellent and spent the rest of the night chatting to the landlord Thomas. A lovely man . The poor guy was dealing with a large group of 3 peakers who treated his pub as a meeting room so they could get warm and not order food or drinks. But to add insult eat their own. Then refuse to leave and then threatening to write a bad review. Some people are just rude. Treat others as you expect to be treated. We will be going back. I never write reviews but pub staff excellent. Good for walkers and beer drinkers. Same thing lol
Cons:Sorry Thomas the only thing I didn't like was after an 11 hour day was filling in the breakfast form at the bar while I was totally spent. Just let the guests recover then get to fill in later over a pint.
