Everything nice but manager at Cape Coral was not polite. We arrived 25 minutes before our appointment. Waited in line and was called to the counter by nice lady ( our place in line). When she started with us a man behind us was 1 1/2 late for his pick up and the manager told the lady not to help us but help the man behind us. So another 20 minute wait putting us behind schedule. I said to her that she should have asked us if he could go ahead and she said that policy is to help the earliest reservations first even if they were late.

Office was run down. Parking lot was unpaved and had holes the width of the car. Service was friendly but very slow. Understaffed.

CAR HAD TO BE CLEANED WHILE WE HAD TO WAIT BEFORE WE COULD TAKE IT. ALSO, 2 MILES DOWN THE ROAD, THE LOW FUEL LIGHT CAME ON

Pros:

The manager was great. However, it does not matter how great the manager is if the company does not care about their employees or customers.

Cons:

To start, you should have the car that was reserved. Secondly, you make the customer go through all the trouble of getting the car in Cape Coral after you overcharge for the same car that I could have rented outside in Fort Myers. Thanks to the manager, my trip was not ruined not that you really care. The biggest problem is that there is no accountability with companies anymore.

Cons:

Wasn’t sure I wanted the truck that was offered for my long trip, but that seemed to be my best choice of the options available. However, the Dodge Ram Rebel pick up performed admirably for the 1200 mile trip.

They did not have my reservation and blamed Kayak. They tried to upsell me another car for $100 more and force me to pay insurance even though I have local insurance, international insurance, and insurance via my credit card.

I loved the car loved the easy pick up and return of the rental car. The airport made it very self explanatory to get the car back with white letters on the road to direct you back to the rental car return. Made me smile. I had to extend my rental due to not finishing the work I came down for and the company made it very easy to extend.

Nice people and car, but not very businesslike. Would have liked a printed receipt before I left. I still don't have a receipt >24 hours later, even via email, I turned the keys in to the man on duty at 4:30 yesterday and someone called me today to ask where the keys were.

Car was fine. Everything else was a challenge. Took waaaaay too long to get through their process. Killed half a day by the time we went to two different rental locations and got our car. Then my rental was shortened. Got the car finally at 4 pm but had to return by noon the following day. Never again!!!
