If you need a larger van in Reading, you'll be able to choose between a number of different, reliable vehicles. If you pick up your vehicle in Reading at Enterprise's South Reading van hire offices, you can choose a Renault Master, which offers around 11.3 cubic metres of load space. Alternatively, if you're looking for something in the middle, the Vauxhall Vivaro with around 5.9 square metres is a great option. Both are reliable, popular options that will suit most drivers. When you're picking your van up at the airport, both Green Motion and Drivalia offer Ford Transits, which offer around 10 cubic metres of load space.
The most reliable Reading van hire company is usually Enterprise's South Reading location. They frequently have a range of vans available for hire in different sizes, so you can find the perfect van for your needs and budget. From Reading Station, you can take the Number 6 Emerald Bus to the Long Barn Lane Stop just outside the office. Be aware that if you select a cargo van with a tail lift from this location, you'll need to be at least 30 years old. Other vans can be hired by drivers aged 25 or older.
The Chatham Place Car Park is a useful underground option in the middle of Reading's city centre. Just remember that it has a 2.0-metre height limit, which may be too short for some medium and large vans. Oracle and Holybrook both have underground car parks with a 2.1-metre height restriction. You can expect to pay roughly £2 per hour, though it does vary slightly depending on the location and time of day.
KAYAK compares cargo van rental prices from all major car rental companies such as Thrifty, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, Payless and more to find you the best deal.

Dec 2015
Pros:
Car and price were good. Good location.Cons:
The car was filthy on the outside although they did offer me a car wash voucher. I didn't take it as I hadn't accounted for the extra time to get the car cleaned. By far the worst experience was being upsold the insurance excess waiver, even though I'd taken a policy with Kayak at the time of booking. I could kick myself for paying for this as its a complete rip off. The girl who served me sowed sufficient doubt in my mind that the policy I had already paid for (excess waiver), wouldn't in fact cover me should I damage the car. Take my advice, if you take out the excess waiver with Kayak, don't let Sixt sell you additional insurance for the insurance excess, which they quote as £1000. I opted for the 50% waiver which still cost 40% of the vehicle rental.3 locations in Reading
