Cons:I've rented from Sixt before. Generally happy, but this was by far a horrible experience. The vehicle I reserved and was assigned (SUV)- battery was dead. The only vehicles available were larger or smaller. Of course, no problem to offer to charge me for the higher rate for the larger vehicle, but could not provide an adjustment for the smaller vehicle. Was told a manager had to be present to do that, and there was no guarantee that an adjustment could be made. Reluctantly took the smaller vehicle, at the same rate as the reservation, and with no guarantee an adjustment would be given. Was given GM's contact information. One other complaint, the individual who assigned the vehicle never advised that an additional driver would be an added fee. Found that out after I returned the vehicle. Reached out to GM a few days later. He was apologetic and said he would make an adjustment and would be reflected after I returned the vehicle. Returned the vehicle. Discount applied. However, individual who checked me in said that he found two scratches on the front left and right fender were discovered and that I might get a call. These scratches were never mentioned to me or documented prior to my departure. Luckily, I took personal pictures of the vehicle. The photos showed these scratches were pre-existing. He still insisted that I may get a phone call regarding reimbursement. Not sure why this wasn't documented prior to my departure so as not to burden on the process of returning the vehicle. Overall, this was a disappointing and sad experience, and really hope I don't have to spend more time to speak any further on this matter regarding damage that was already present prior to my departure.
